Masonic Family Day 2011

This the 100th celebration of Masonic Family Day at the Texas Masonic Retirement Cetner in Arlington, TX.  We once again served up fine BQQ from our Senior Steward Don Moellers stash, who once again won the annual Masonic Family Day BBQ competition, making it his 2nd win in the three years since it inspection.

Once again, honoring our local heroes (Dallas Police and Dallas Fire Departments) with a free hearty serving of DeGrazier's finest pancakes and all the fixins.  Sheriff Lupe Valdez, the highest ranking law enforcement officer in the County of Dallas, and the first female elected Sheriff in the State of Texas, came by to pay us a visit

Lamar Awards Dinner at the Scottish Rite Cathedral

At the annual Lamar Award dinner we presented a Mirabeau B. Lamar Medal to Cimajie Best from Hillcrest High School, a much deserving student who will be pursuing a Pre-Med degree.

DeMolay Frank Marshall Championship Tournament Fund Raiser

Our 2nd annual fund raising event at the DeMolay Frank Marshall Championship Tournament were we served several hungry DeMolay boys, Rainbow Girls, and guest participating in this year's annual Championship Ritual Tournament at the Ft. Worth Masonic Temple.  It was a privilege and an honor to once again serve these young men and women who will very likely be the future leaders in our fraternity.

50 Year Service Award presentation

John L. DeGrazier lodge was requested by the Grand Lodge of Oregon to bestow a 50 year service award upon Bro. Jim Torrance, which we were honored to do.

Wives & Widows Appreciation / Valentines Observance

Our annual wives and widows appreciation night in observance of Valentines was well attended.  We had a presentation on the history of Valentines Day by our Chaplain Bro. Love.

Pancake Breakfast for Local Heroes

Another fine Pancake Breakfast in honor of our Dallas area Firefighters and Policemen.

Every Tuesday night will be “Nights in the Quarry” night. Please come join us for work including practicing degrees, learning the esoteric work, and a time of fellowship.
